Store design for "Unagi Yondaime Kikugawa," run by an eel wholesaler with 90 years of history.

The design concept was "providing new value combined with past history and tradition."

It is not a space that is flashy and focused solely on design, but rather one that highlights the quality of service and the appeal of the products that have been passed down through the years.

The aim is to create a modest space where the design is two or three steps behind.

The space is not dominated by the dark, tense atmosphere that is typical of a historic eel restaurant,

While maintaining the feeling of a long-established establishment, we have mixed a bright space with plain wood to create a friendly atmosphere.

The space was designed to be adapted to the modern era.

In addition, the quality of the art resonates with the classiness of the prestigious facility, creating a space that also creates a comfortable sense of tension.
